Testing & Documentation
What We Test, How We Test It, and What You Receive
From a 100% women-owned team — no lot leaves our supply chain without independent verification. A precise account of our testing methodology, COA contents, and how to confirm any record for yourself.
Our Testing Standard
Independently Triple-Tested
Every AGERE compound is independently, third-party tested before release. Each shipment includes a lot-matched Certificate of Analysis documenting three things:
Identity & Purity
Confirms the compound's identity and measures its purity as a percentage (HPLC) — exactly what's in the vial and how pure.
Endotoxin & Heavy Metals
Each lot is screened for bacterial endotoxins and heavy-metal contaminants — documenting the material's analytical cleanliness.
Mass / Content Verification
Quantitative analysis confirms the actual mass of compound matches the labeled amount — a vial labeled 25 mg is verified to contain 25 mg, not an approximation.
For Research Use Only. Analytical quality control of research materials. Not for human or animal consumption; not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
What We Test and How
Identity — HPLC-MS
High-performance liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry confirms the compound's molecular identity against an authenticated reference standard. No result, no release.
Purity — Quantitative HPLC
Area normalization HPLC quantifies the target compound relative to all detected species. Our minimum release threshold is ≥98% purity. Lots below this threshold are rejected and destroyed.
Peptide Sequence Confirmation
For applicable peptide compounds, amino acid analysis confirms sequence integrity and composition prior to lot release.
Microbial Limits
Total aerobic microbial count and absence of specified organisms per USP <61>, conducted where required by compound class.
What Every COA Contains
Each Certificate of Analysis issued for an AGERE lot includes all of the following:
Verify Any Lot, Publicly
Our Batch Lookup tool is public and requires no account. Any researcher, institution, or auditor can enter a lot number and retrieve the complete third-party testing record — purity, identity method, accredited laboratory, and test date.
Open Batch LookupResearch Use Only
All AGERE products are reference materials classified as Research Use Only (RUO) under 21 CFR Part 801. They are not approved for human or animal administration and are not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. Testing data is provided for laboratory research documentation purposes only and does not constitute a representation of clinical safety, efficacy, or fitness for any purpose beyond in vitro research.
